Car Shopping :(

I know that car shopping is supposed to be fun, but I hate it. I have been putting it off for a year now and the time has finally come(it should have been done about 1 month ago). My poor sister is so kind and patient waiting for me to get a car. I have been driving her car for about a year, since it took her extra long to get her licence. I really just wish that someone would do it for me. Oh well so much for wishful thinking. Now I will get back to the hunt. Wish me good luck!

What can I say.....

I am horrible at updating this blog. I am also horrible at taking pictures.

We had a nice Thanksgiving. My sister came in from California with her husband and 4 kids. I love those kids. Her little girl Bella is such a riot. She is a spitfire and always making us laugh. They stayed for 10 days and we were all sad to see them go. But they will be back in just a few weeks to stay thruogh the new year. Hooray for family and special holidays that give us an excuse to spend time together.

I am getting all geared up for Christmas. I still have some shopping to do. And Presley is trying to talk me into getting her and ipod. Really she is only 5. I don't think so. She just sounds so cute giving me her reasons of why he should have one. But don't worry I won't cave in. I have been asked by a few people about what I want for Christmas, I just go blank and can't think of much. I really just enjoy the surprise and I like people to think about me and my likes and interest. Any way its a fun time of year and I am enjoying all the Christmas sights and sounds. Cornbelly's

This place was so fun. We went last Friday. I got the day off. I have never done a corn maze and I was determined to do one this year. I had no idea that it was going to be such a blast. Presley, my sisters Maison, Arianne, my roomate Julie, and my co-worker Alisha. We spent about 3 hrs. there just messing around with everything there was to do.

We made it thru the corn maze in 18 mins. thanks to Julie's great sense of direction.

We shot pumpkins out of this cannon. We were trying to hit targets. I tried about 8 times and couldn't hit anything. Julie however shot it 2 times and hit it both times. We also shot ears of corn threw littler cannons.

We wanted to go on the hay ride and Alisha decided she wanted to drive the tractor. And guess what he totally let her drive and she had a blast. She was actually really good.

We also were jumping on these huge rubber pillows that were filled with air. I should have got a picture but I forgot because we were having to much fun, but I think we need one for our backyard.

Halloween For Real

Presley made the perfect little Tinkerbell and hopefully I am not the perfect little devil. We had a good Halloween. We went trick or treating for about and hour. I was very surprised and happy that it wasn't too cold. Last year we froze our butts off. I an very proud to say that I made Presley costume and I think it turned out beautifully. We got just the right amount of candy so it is not hanging around forever. Afterward I went out with some friends to a few parties. The best part was the haunted house Julie's cousins' put on. It was better and more fun than the ones I paid to go too. It was fun I stayed up too late and paid for it the rest of the week.

I had to throw this one in. It was from a few weeks ago but my hair looks fantastic. Enjoy!

Just before Halloween we went up to Lagoon. I was a blast. I went on a few rides myself one being the Spider. I love it and laughed my head off it was so fun.

I was so proud of Prelsey riding this one with me. It even scared me but it was the 2nd time she rode it (we went to frightmares last year too).

She loved these swings. My little sister Maison is such a good little autie. We had tons of fun. Presley had been bugging me to take her to a haunted house and we were able to there. It wasn't too scary but I think she will think agian before asking me next year. It was not as fun as she thought it would be.

Color Me Mine Again?

Yes I went to Color Me Mine again and I was informed that I was one of there favorite customers. Mad props to me right? Any way this time it wasn't my idea. My parents had a Japanesse exchange student stay with them for a week and we took him there to have something to take back to Japan that he had made. It was fun and goofy (just like my family). I am begining to think that maybe I am additcted to this place I am already planning my next piece. It is just too fun. If you haven't done it you should defintely try it. Any way we had a great time with Takashi. He was a real sweet heart. He spoke very little english but he was a good sport and willing to go wherever we we dragged him and tasted everything we gave him. We were all sad to see him go (my Mom even cried) and hope to keep in touch with him. We would even love him to come and visit again.

Snow?

A few weeks ago my best friend Julie invited me to go up to Brighton to spend the night. I got there pretty late and it was cold when I got out of the car. Well when we woke up the next morning it was snowing! It was beautiful although a little early for snow. It made me nervous because I still haven't gotten used to the cold weather. My body still craves the crazy heat of Hawaii. Since then it has been snowing off and on, not to much though. Any way we had a great time. Sorry there are no pictures of us, Presley and I were both a little camera shy. We played a game I had never heard of before. It was called Bonanza and it was a crazy game of trading cards and planting bean gardens. It was super fun.

Happy Early Halloween!

We got a little crazy on Saturday and got all dressed up for a early Halloween party. On Saturday morning we thought we would dress up. We wanted something easy and cheap. So we thought lets be vampires! Julie is a cosomtologist so we went down to her salon and put perm rods in our hair to get it all crazy curly. It took forever but it turned out super fun. But in the end we ended up being the vampire victims. Its pretty fun to be bitten.

After all our fun we went out side to find it snowing (it had been snowing and raining a little bit earlier). After we dropped everyone off it ended up taking about 1 hr and 45 mins. (it should have taken about 45min). It was beautiful but very annoying. We had a good time and probably a better time just playing dress up. I decided with my sisters help that on Halloween I am going to be a fairy. Which should make Presley happy because she is going to be Tinkerbell. I loved my hair and wore it curly for several more days. I wan to do it again for Halloween.

Color Me Mine

I am sure that many of you have been to Color Me Mine. Presley and I love it there. We have a lot of fun painting our pottery and spending time together. I sure we would go a few times a week if I could afford it! We went twice last week and theses are our pieces. Mine are on the left and Presley's are on the right. We still need some practice but we are getting better.

Blogs are great for.....

Blogs are great for showing off all the fantastic things that your own kid or kids do. I couldn't resist showing everyone how proud i am of my little ballerina. I happen to think that she is smart, funny, sweet, pretty, kind, and of course very well behaved! I love these little shots of her doing her ballet. I happen to think she is a natural. Just look at her extension!

Ballarina Girl

Presley started ballet last week. She loves it and seems to be a natural. I have to say that she looks adorable.

Happy Birthday......TO ME

I am now and old woman of 27 years! I had a great day and enjoyed my family. I didn't feel like having a cake so my Mom made the most delicious apple pie ever! My coworkers decorated my desk at work and I left the decorations up for a week. It was fun to celebrate it for more that just a day!

WELCOME HOME

Everyone was so happy to have Presley back we held a party in honor of her homecoming. She had a great time and felt very special. She even modeled for us. In one picture she is showing of her lost tooth(she has since lost another)! She is growing up so fast and I love her to death!

Isn't this a fantastic sunset. We couldn't resist taking some really cute pictures. We were up in Bountiful for our friend Jacqueline's birthday(she is the one with the tiara). The other girl is one of my best friends and also my roommate. We had a really good time and it was a sunset almost worthy of Hawaii.

Pool Time

This was a fun day. I took a picture of her and she took a few of me. She is pretty good for a 5 year old. She has informed me that she has learned how to swim and body surf. I am looking forward to her coming back and showing me her new tricks. She also told me she has 3 lose teeth. My how the time flies. It seems like she just got them all.

These are a few of my awsome bathroom. Thanks to my brother-in-law. He did an awsome job. I think it is the best transformation in the house.
