As seen on TV

So last year when Presley was visiting her Dad in Hawaii. We talked on the phone one or more times a day. In a few of these call she informed that she had found a solution to me always losing my phone and keys in my purse (I happen to be a big fan of over sized purses). She proceeded to tell me about a purse she found. With this purse I would never lose my keys again and it even had a special pocket for my phone, it could also fit two water bottles and an umbrella, and it was always secure. What really sold her was the little voice recorder that came with it. Into which you you could speak your grocery list (eggs,butter,milk). Any way once she got to the end I realized that this was the buxton organizer and I laughed my head off. She informed me that I should get it in red because it was a cute color. I have to say that no I did not get it but when I was shopping for a purse a few months later she was looking all over for it. I had to tell her that you have to order it of the tv. I am pretty sure she just wanted the voice recorder though.

Weekend Update

On Friday it was Julie's 26th birthday. So I spent the day with her. We went to lunch at California Pizza Kitchen then we went swimming. It was a very nice day for swimming. After swimming we got all fancied up and headed up to Salt Lake. We had made reservations for Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. If you have never been you really need to go. Can you say yummy! I had a crab cake, french onion soup, asparagras, mushrooms, sweet potatoe casserole, and a fillet. It was heaven. It also cost a pretty penny but it was really fun to dress up and go out and pretend I had money to burn.

On Fathers Day we had crab and it was super yummy. We had a nice relaxed day and I went to bed early.

My Problem

I have a problem I love junk food but my body doesn't. When I eat junk food I get really tired. I have been off junk for 3 whole days now. Yesterday I got a migraine. Now I usually lay down and take a good nap when I get one. Here is where the problem comes into play. I when I went to lay down yesterday and I couldn't go to sleep. I had to much energy but if I had been eating junk food I would have fallen into a peaceful slumber. Who would have thought that this is what I would be dealing with. So I ended up just vegging on the couch until the headache subsided and I could function again.

So it was time to buy a new pair of "nice" sandals this year and I fell in love with these. They are so cute and look really cute on my foot and I even got them on sale. Whooohoo! You can find them here.

I picked up this little dress on a whim and I am loving it. I wore it to a friends reception and guess what everyone else loved it to. Of course I wore it with a white shirt and cardigan and it was even more cute. You can find it here.

Okay, I am finally going to give in and clean my house. It has been to long and it is officially driving me crazy. I really need to deep clean it and do a little every day to keep it clean. If only I was more like my big sis. Her house is always clean and pretty. Seriously it is very pretty and she has 4 kids under the age of 7 . The girl knows how to decorate. Presley is always talking about how pretty it is. I only have on child and we live in a disaster area (well isn't not quite that bad but it drives me crazy). I just want to know where she gets the time and energy. Enough with my rambling. I will get to cleaning. Wish me luck and energy!

The End of an Era

I am sad to report that Julie has moved out. I know its all going to work out well. She is married now and Presley will get her own room. But I have to say....I don't like it. Julie and I got along so well and we really didn't have any issues. So she will be missed but she is moving on to better things. I love you Julie.

Once Presley got her skates she was almost surgically attached to them. It is fun and cute but not so fun and cute when she rolls over my toes.
