I have a confession to make. I went speed dating and I had a really good time. I didn't meet anyone but it was great practice. I went with at group of single friends and we had a great time. We even met a new girlfriend (go figure). But my big plans tonight are karaoke! Another confession....yes I love, love, love karaoke.

I know it has been too long since I last posted. I have just been helping my Mom babysit my sisters kids while she is having a little honeymoon. Her husband just got back from an 8 month tour in Iraq. I hope she is having an awesomely romantic time!

On a side note I just wanted everyone to know that I just caulked the crown molding in Presley's room. Woohoo! I am really proud of myself and I have to say I did and dang good job. Especially for my first time. Then next step is to paint it and her room. I have chosen a really pretty blue. I didn't want to go pink because not doubt everything else in there will be. Its her favorite color. I promise the next post will have some kind of pictures to break up the monotony.

Right now I am looking forward to my run tomorrow morning. My sister and I have been running the up the canyon on Saturdays. The seven miles kicks our butts but you really feel like you did something.

Joint custody sucks. However it doesn't suck so much when you get two trips to Hawaii this year. I am here to announce that I will go going to get Presley from Maui (after her 2 month stay) at the beginning of September! I can't wait to park my butt on this beach. Who knows maybe I will finally get some surfing lessons. I also can't wait to pack my camera with a gillion rolls of film and shoot anything and everything.

Sometimes I feel crazy because when I am in Hawaii I can't imagine wanting to live on the mainland but when I am on the mainland I can't imagine living in Hawaii. It seems like a better vacation destination. Why can't I have the best of both worlds and live in both places? Oh, thats right its too freakn' expensive!

Just an Update

Yes, I was done with all 754 pages by Saturday night. It was crazy but I couldn't put it down. I can say the I loved it and wouldn't have had it end any other way!

Yes I am One of Those

Yes, I am one of those girls who loves the Twilight series. I am super excited for this book and I will be standing in line at 12:00 tonight to get my book! I also can hardly wait for the movie to come out.

If only I could find a vampire. I would totally marry one. They are sooooo sexy.
